Heard the parties.
2. The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Bariyatu P.S. Case No. 63/2024, for the offences registered under Sections 17(C), 18(b) & 22(c) of the N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the Court of learned Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Latehar.
3. On 23.10.2024 at about 3:15 P.M., Bariyatu Police raided the house of the petitioner and on search, 1.09 Kgs. of opium was recovered from there.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner very fairly submitted that the petitioner is accused in another case of similar nature and he is on bail on that case.
5. Considering the aforesaid fact that the petitioner has got criminal antecedent, I am not inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, his prayer for bail stands rejected at this stage.
