ORAL ORDER
This petition is filed by the sole accused under Section 483 of BNSS praying to grant bail in Crime No.259/2025 of Saligrama Police Station, Mysore registered for offences punishable under Section 109(1) and 352 of BNS.
2. Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned Additional SPP for respondent/State.
3. Learned counsel for petitioner would contend that the injured has already been discharged from the hospital and is out of danger. There are no criminal antecedents of the petitioner. There is no intention on the part of the petitioner to kill the injured. The petitioner is ready to co- operate with the police in further investigation. With this he prayed to allow the petition.

4. Per contra, learned Additional SPP would contend that there are 4 injuries sustained by the injured out of them 2 are simple and 2 are grievous injuries. The investigation is in progress. The statement of eyewitness has already been recorded. There is a recovery of knife from the possession of the petitioner at the time of his arrest. With this, she prayed to reject the petition.
5. Having heard the learned counsel, the Court has perused the FIR, complaint and other materials placed on record.
6. The first information indicates that the petitioner and the injured had quarreled with regard to consumption of alcohol after consuming alcohol on the previous day. On the date of incident, the petitioner is stated to have quarreled with the injured and assaulted him with knife. The injured has sustained 4 injuries and out of them, 2 are simple and 2 are grievous injuries. The injured has already been discharged from the hospital. The petitioner is aged 21 years and he is stated to be the

sole bread earner of the family, as he is working as a Mason. There are no criminal antecedents of the petitioner. Considering the above aspects, the petitioner has made out case for grant of bail with conditions. In the result, the following:
ORDER
Petition is allowed. The petitioner is granted bail in Crime No.259/2025 of Saligrama Police Station, Mysore subject to following conditions: (i) The petitioner shall execute a personal bond for a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- with one surety for the like-sum to the satisfaction of the jurisdictional Court. (ii) The petitioner shall not tamper the prosecution witnesses either directly or indirectly. (iii) The petitioner shall co-operate with the IO in further investigation. (iv) The petitioner shall attend the trial Court on all dates of hearing unless

exempted and co-operate for speedy disposal of the case. (v) The petitioner shall not involve in commission of any offence. If he is found involved in commission of any offence, the prosecution is at liberty to seek cancellation of bail granted to him.
