The sum and substance of the complaint is that a sum of Rs.40,00,000/- was misappropriated by the petitioner while he was employed as Account and Floor Manager of the defacto-complainant’s stores. 3. According to the complaint, the misappropriation spanned 13 years and the accounts were reconciled only recently, then the misappropriation came to light. 4. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent states that the investigation is complete and the final report was filed before the Judicial Magistrate II, Ponneri, on 15.08.2025 through e- filing. 2/5 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis Crl.O.P.No.22509 of 2025 5. Considering the fact that the investigation is complete and there is no scope for manipulation of records, this Court is inclined to grant bail, subject to certain conditions. 6. Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail on his executing a bond for a sum of Rs.50,000/- (Rupees Fifty Thousand only) with two sureties, each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Ponneri. [b] The sureties shall affix their photographs and Left Thumb Impression in the Application for Surety ship [Judicial Form No.46 annexed to 'The Criminal Rules of Practice, 2019'].
