In this writ petition, the petitioners are assailing the order dated 04.06.2022 passed by respondent No.2 at Annexure-A. 3. On careful consideration of the operative portion of the impugned order dated 04.06.2022 (Annexure-A) wherein, it is stated that the grant of the land made in favor of the petitioners has been cancelled on account of the fact that, the petitioners belong to Nayaka caste and not Vokkaliga caste. In that view of the matter, taking into consideration the relevant provision under the Karnataka Land Revenue Rules, 1996, particularly, the procedure contemplated under Section 108K has to be followed by the respondent-Revenue Authorities for cancellation of the grant, in the event, the grantee has fraudulently or falsely made a representation seeking grant of the land. - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:53805 WP No. 13245 of 2022 4. In that view of the matter, I find force in the submission made by learned counsel for the petitioner. 5. Accordingly the order dated 04.06.2022 passed by the respondent No.2, is hereby, set aside.
