BEFORE HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE SUMAN SHYAM ORDER 20.03.2025 Heard Mr. A. Choudhury, learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner. Also heard Mr. D. Borah, learned Govt. Advocate, Assam appearing for the respondent Nos.4 and 5. Mr. R. R. Gogoi, learned Standing Counsel, PHE Department, Assam has appeared for the respondent Nos.1, 2 and 3 and Mr. P. K. Deka, learned counsel has appeared for the respondent No.6. Mr. Choudhury submits that the primary relief sought by his client in the writ petition was for a direction to the respondents to forward his candidature for consideration of the prayer for appointment on compassionate ground by the SLC. However, as per instructions received, Mr. Choudhury submits that during the pendency of this writ petition the name of the petitioner has already been forwarded to the SLC. In view of the above, with liberty to agitate further grievance in the matter, if any, as and when proper cause of action arises, Mr. Choudhury seeks leave of this Court to withdraw this writ petition.
Page No.# 3/3 The prayer is not opposed by the respondents counsel. As such, the writ petition stands disposed of on withdrawal with liberty as prayed for.
