The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Katras P.S. Case No. 277 of 2024, for the offences registered under Sections 25(1-b)(a), 26, 35 of the Arms Act, pending in the Court of learned S.D.J.M., Dhanbad. 3. On 21.10.2024, at about 08:35 p.m., Katras Police apprehended this petitioner from a place near Ledidumar Bridge at Mansingh Kolmurna. On search, a loaded country-made pistol was recovered from his possession. 4. It was submitted that the petitioner is in custody for more than five months. It was further submitted that charge-sheet has been submitted in this case and the offence alleged is triable by a Court of Judicial Magistrate. 5. In view of the submissions made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned S.D.J.M., Dhanbad in connection with Katras P.S.
