Heard the parties.
The petitioners have been made accused in connection with N.D.P.S. Case No.04 of 2025 arising out of Panki P.S. Case No. 12 of 2025, for the offences registered under Sections 8B, 18B, 29 of the N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the Court of learned Special Judge under N.D.P.S. Act, Palamau.
On 25.01.2025 at about 10:30 A.M., Panki police on the basis of confidential information destructed poppy cultivation from forest area of Jayrawar, Jamungadha, Lambitand, Kekargarh.
It was submitted that name of the petitioners has transpired on the basis of information given by unknown person.
Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail, but does not dispute the aforesaid fact. In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to release the petitioners, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioners, named above, are directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge under N.D.P.S. Act, Palamau, in connection with N.D.P.S. Case No.04 of 2025 arising out of Panki P.S. Case No. 12 of 2025.
