Neutral Citation No. - 2025:AHC:138880-DB Chief Justice's Court Case :- PUBLIC INTEREST LITIGATION (PIL) No. - 2251 of 2025 Petitioner :- Angad Prasad and another Respondent :- State of U.P. and 3 others Counsel for Petitioner :- Kavish Suhail, Deepak Pandey, Neeraj Joshi Counsel for Respondent :- Jagdish Pathak (S.C.) Hon'ble Arun Bhansali, Chief Justice Hon'ble Kshitij Shailendra, J. 1. This petition, purportedly in public interest, has been filed by the petitioners inter alia seeking a direction to respondent no.2 to take necessary action in compliance to the Government Order dated 13.05.2022. 2. The petitioners, by way of disclosure of their credentials, have written a single line that they are social workers. As to what nature of social work they have indulged into before filing of the present petition, has not been indicated in the petition anywhere and the occupation of petitioner no.1 has been shown as farmer and that of petitioner no.2 as Advocate. 3. The representation made, Annexure-1, by petitioner no.2, an Advocate, is absolutely vague and sweeping allegations against the employees have been made without any specific instance and/or naming anyone. Further, the entire emphasis apparently is to seek transfer of the employees qua whom allegations made are that they are working for over 10 years at the same place/post. 4. Filing of a PIL of the present nature seeking to enforce the Circular dated 13.05.2022, without disclosing the credentials and claiming themselves to be social workers and making sweeping allegations without any specific instance, cannot be countenanced. The manner in which the allegations have been made, that also by petitioner no.2 in a status as an Advocate, leaves much to be desired. 5. Be that as it may, we do not find any public interest involved in the petition. The same is therefore, dismissed.
