In the High Court of Punjab and Haryana, at Chandigarh
Criminal Misc. No. M-43729 of 2025 Date of Decision: 07.08.2026 Parvinder Kaur ... Petitioner(s) Versus State of Punjab and Others ... Respondent(s)
CORAM: Hon'ble Mr. Justice Surya Partap Singh. Present: None for the petitioner(s). Mr. Jatinder Pal Singh, Senior Deputy Advocate General, Punjab, for the respondents No.1 to 3. Surya Partap Singh, J.
1. Despite repeated calls nobody has put in appearance on behalf of the petitioner. On the last occasion also, i.e. on 27.07.2026, the petitioner was unrepresented and on that day a direction was given to the Registry to notify today’s date to the learned counsel for the petitioner.
2. On the last occasion, it was also clarified that if nobody will appear on behalf of the petitioner, an adverse order may be passed.
3. As per report of the Registry the learned counsel for the petitioner has been duly notified through email. However, despite notice the
learned counsel for the petitioner has not appeared. Thus, despite above- mentioned efforts, the petitioner is unrepresented today.
4. In view of above, it is apparent that the petitioner is not interested in pursuing the present petition. Hence, the same is hereby dismissed in default, accordingly. (Surya Partap Singh) Judge August 07, 2026
