This Court, vide order dated 08.08.2024, passed in MCRC No. 5631 of 2024, while rejecting the bail to the applicant, namely, Sunil Kushwaha, had expressed its trust that the trial Court should make an earnest endeavor to conclude the trial expeditiously in accordance with law, preferably within a period of six months from the date of passing of the order, if there was no legal impediment. 3. The learned Judicial Magistrate First Class, Raipur (C.G) vide his KUNAL DEWANGAN Digitally signed by KUNAL DEWANGAN 2 request letter dated 28.01.2025 has requested for grant of some more time for concluding the trial. 4. It transpires from perusal of the PUD that in this case, there are total 16 prosecution witnesses, out of which, statements of 9 prosecution witnesses have been recorded and a supplementary charge-sheet was presented on December 23, 2024, by the Station House OfÏcer of New Rajendra Nagar Police Station, Raipur, Chhattisgarh. The supplementary charge-sheet includes 19 new witnesses and against them, summons/warrants are issued for recording of their statements. Currently, the testimony of 26 witnesses are pending. hence, the conclusion of the trial is likely to take some time therefore, he prays for grant of further more time for concluding the trial. 5. The request appears to be reasonable. The concerned trial Court is directed to conclude the trial as early as possible, preferably within a further period of five months from today. 6. Accordingly, this CRMP stands disposed off with the aforesaid direction. 7.
