14/05/2025 Heard Mr. S Nawaz, learned counsel for the petitioners and Mr. K K Parashar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam for the State respondent.
2. The petitioners, namely, (1) Kumaresh Kalita, son of Phulen Kalita, (2) Phulen Kalita, son of Lt. Haren Kalita, (3) Puja Barman, wife of Kumaresh Kalita and (4) Anima Kalita, wife of Phulen Kalita, have filed this application under Section 482 BNSS, 2023 seeking pre-arrest bail apprehending their arrest in Jogighopa P.S. Case No. 18/2025 registered under Sections 329(4)/324(4)/296/74/76/351(2) of BNS, 2023 corresponding to NGR No. 52/2025.
3. During the deliberation of the matter, Mr. Parashar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam, on instruction submitted that police after completion of investigation of the case has already submitted charge-sheet in said Jogighopa P.S. Case No. 18/2025 vide Charge-Sheet No. 27/2025 dated 21.03.2025.
4. In view of the above, the petitioners may approach the appropriate forum/authority for their regular bail in said Jogighopa P.S. Case No. 18/2025 corresponding to NGR No. 52/2025 on or before 21.05.2025.

5. Till then, i.e., 21.05.2025, the petitioners, noted above, shall remain on interim bail granted to them earlier on 06.03.2025 in said Jogighopa P.S. Case No. 18/2025.
6. With the above observation and direction, this pre-arrest bail application stands disposed of.
