Heard Sri Vipin Kumar, Advocate holding brief of Sri Arun Kumar, learned counsel for petitioners and learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents. 2. The petitioners' case is that the petitioner no.1 is having live-in- relationship with petitioner no. 2 against the wishes of her father/respondent no.3 as well, therefore, apprehend threat to their lives by him. In the given background, the petitioners have preferred the instant petition for seeking direction to the police/respondents to take appropriate measures to protect their lives. 3. It is the case of the petitioners that the petitioner no. 1 is six months pregnant from petitioner no. 2. They are intended to solemnize marriage and get the same registered under the Special Marriage Act and for that they are being threatened and harassed by respondent no.3 with the collusion of local police. Learned counsel for petitioners further submitted that in pursuance of the hindrances being created by respondent no.3, petitioners moved a representation before Senior Superintendent of Police/Commissioner of Police, Commissionerate Moradabad but no heed has been paid, hence this petition. 4. Considering the threat perception and circumstances as demonstrated through representation, Senior Superintendent of Police/Commissioner of Police, Commissionerate Moradabad is hereby directed to provide a mobile number to both the petitioners which may be received by an officer not below the rank of Sub- Inspector of Uttar Pradesh Police, so that in case of any urgency or emergency, the same may be dialed by either of the petitioners for apprising any urgency or emergency arises for calling that officer. 5. Specific instructions be issued to officer concerned deputed by Senior Superintendent of Police/Commissioner of Police, Commissionerate Moradabad to respond the call as and when made by either of the petitioners by way of taking all measures for protecting and safeguarding their liberty from any anti-social elements or other family members of either of the petitioners. 6. The above mentioned system shall be operative only for next three months and thereafter assessing the circumstances and security threat, if available, the decision will be taken by Senior Superintendent of Police/Commissioner of Police, Commissionerate Moradabad either to extend the same or to stop and the same shall be intimated to the petitioners. 7. The writ petition stands disposed of accordingly. 8. Registrar (Compliance) is hereby directed to ensure service of this order upon Senior Superintendent of Police/Commissioner of Police, Commissionerate Moradabad for necessary compliance.
