Prayer made in present writ petition is for setting aside the reply to the legal notice dated 16.06.2025 (Annexure P-13) vide which respondent No.4 is stated to have rejected the claim of the petitioners for the grant of technical pay scales w.e.f. 01.05.1992. 2
After arguing the matter at some length, learned counsel for the petitioner(s) submits that with regard to the grievance, the petitioner(s) has/have already submitted a legal notice dated 29.04.2025 (Annexure P-12) but the respondents have not taken any action thereupon till date. that the petitioner(s) would be satisfied at this stage, in case respondent No.2 is directed to consider and decide the aforesaid legal notice submitted by the petitioner(s), by passing a speaking order in a time bound manner. 3

Dr. (Ms.) Malvika Singh, DAG, Haryana, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents and she has no objection to the above request. 5
Accordingly, the present petition is disposed of with the consent of the parties and without commenting anything on the merits of the case, by directing respondent No.2-the Director General, State Transport Haryana, Chandigarh, to consider and decide the legal notice dated 29.04.2025 (Annexure P-12) by passing a reasoned and speaking order within a period of four months of the receipt of a certified copy of this order. 6
Needless to mention that if upon considering the said representation, in case any monetary benefit is found due and payable to the petitioner(s), the same shall be disbursed in favour of the petitioner(s) within a further period of two months.
