Heard Mr. N. Naha Roy, learned counsel for the petitioners. Also heard Mr. Hariom Rai, learned Panel Lawyer, appearing for respondent No. 1/State and Mr. Roop Ram Naik, learned counsel, appearing for respondent No. 2. 2. The present petition has been filed by the petitioners with the following prayer: “It is therefore prayed, that this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to exercise its inherent jurisdiction under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 and quash the charge-sheet and the entire criminal proceedings arisen thereby bearing Criminal Case No. 1010 of 2022, which is registered vide order- sheet dated 07.12.2022 and is remaining pending before the Court of Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Bhatapara, District Balodabazar-Bhatapara (C.G.), in the larger interest of justice.” 3. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that he has moved an I.A. No. 2 of 2024, which is an application for withdrawal of the petition, as during the pendency of the present petition, the parties to the criminal proceeding are reaching to the stage of compromise, therefore, he prays 3 that the present petition may be dismissed as withdrawn with a liberty to file afresh, if any, further cause of action arise. 4. Learned State counsel and learned counsel, appearing for respondent No. 2, have no objection. 5. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, I.A.
