Issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondent No.1 department to release the arrears of pay and allowances to the petitioner. 2. Issue any other directions, orders and writ, which this Hon’ble Court deems fit in the interest of justice and equity.” 2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the learned counsel appearing for respondent No.1 and respondent No.2. 3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the arrears, as obtaining on implementation of the recommendations of the 6th pay commission, was paid in installments to the petitioner. Installments 1 and 2 reached the petitioner. The third did not. Therefore, the present petition is filed. 4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is not reachable. Therefore, he has no instructions as to whether the third installment is also paid and encased as is paid and encased qua 1 and 2 installments. 6. Therefore, the petition is disposed on the submissions made by the counsel for the respondent. Ordered accordingly.
