This writ petition has been filed with the following prayer:- "a) issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of MANDAMUS commanding and directing the respondent no. 2 and 3 to restrain the respondent no. 4 to 7 not to interfere in peaceful possession over the petitioner's land being Gata No. 236 area 0.024 hectare and Gata no. 237, area 0.199 hectare situated at Village Parsiya, Pargana-Kotwali Sharki, Tehsil-Sadar, District-Ballia." From perusal of the prayer made in the writ petition, it is clear that this is a private dispute between the petitioner and private respondent nos. 4 to 7. The relief as prayed cannot be granted under Article 226 of Constitution of India. Writ petition is misconceived and stands dismissed.
