By means of the instant petition, the petitioner seeks directions that the respondent no.1/Collector, Haridwar, may be directed to expedite the recovery proceedings. It is the case of the petitioner that he had moved an application under Section 6H(1) of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947, in which Assistant Labour Commissioner had issued a recovery citation of Rs. 7,20,000/-, and it was forwarded to the respondent no.1/Collector, Haridwar, for recovery on 31.01.2025, but till then, it has not been recovered. Learned State Counsel was required to get instructions in the matter. Learned State Counsel submits that the recovery citation has already been forwarded by the respondent no.1/Collector, Haridwar, to the Tehsildar concerned on 20.02.2025. He gives a statement that within 8 weeks, the recovery certificate would be returned. The Court takes on record the statement given by learned counsel for the respondent no.1. In view of the statement given by learned counsel for the respondent no.1/Collector, Haridwar, nothing survives in this writ petition. It stands disposed of, accordingly.
