After prolonged negotiations, matter is settled. The parties have agreed to compromise the case for a total sum of Rs.2,95,000/-(Rupees Two lakhs Ninety five thousand only/- towards full and final settlement of the claim, which shall be paid by the petitioner/accused to the respondent-complainant as per joint memo filed on 13.12.2025. A joint Memo is filed on behalf of the parties to this effect. Same is accepted and placed on record. 3. Criminal Revision Petition stands disposed of in terms of Joint Memo. 4. In view of the above settlement, the judgment and the order dated 07.03.2025 passed in 4 Crl.A.No.15/2024 by the II Addl. District and Sessions Judge, Haveri sitting at Ranebennur and the judgment and order dated 26.12.2023 passed by the II Addl. Senior Civil Judge and JMFC., Ranebennur in CC No.992/2019 is set aside and consequently, the accused is acquitted for the offence punishable under section 138 of NI Act.
