The petitioner has assailed an order dated 02.06.2025 passed by respondent No. 3 rejecting his representation for grant of compensation under the Mukhyamantri Krishak Durghatna Kalyan Yojana. The District Magistrate has held that the son of the petitioner, namely, Vishal Rajbhar at the time of his death was 19 years of age and was a student of class 12th. He was a bachelor. It has also been held that he was not an agriculturalist and therefore, consequent to his death, no compensation would be payable. 2. Counsel for the petitioner is unable to show to us that how the son of the petitioner, Vishal Rajbhar, on whose death, compensation was claimed, was an 'agriculturalist', as per definition clause under the Scheme. 3.
