The petitioner is before this Court seeking for the following reliefs: a. Issue a writ in the nature of Mandamus directing the Respondent No.4 to consider the representation of petitioner Dt. 14.8.2024 (ANNEXURE-D) and thereby direct the Respondent No.4 to include the name of petitioner in Panchayat Property Record/Register - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC-D:11767 WP No. 106538 of 2025 Of Todalbagi Village, Jamkhandi Taluk, Bagalkot Dist as per the Sale Deed Dt. 10.5.2022 (Annexure-C) and b. Pass such orders as this Hon’ble court may deem fit in the facts and circumstances of the case as in duty bound the petitioners shall ever pray an act of kindness in the interest of justice and equity. 4. The short grievance of the petitioner is that despite the sale deed registered in the name of the petitioner on 10.05.2022, the request made by the petitioner for the entry of the name of the petitioner in the Panchayat property record, has not been considered and necessary orders passed by respondent No.4. In that background, the petitioner is before this Court seeking for the aforesaid reliefs. 5. Whenever any representation is submitted by a citizen to an authority, the authority is required to pass necessary orders on the representation either accepting or rejecting the representation within a reasonable period of time. A mandamus is issued directing respondent No.4 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 14.08.2024 at Annexure-D and pass necessary orders in relation thereto in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
