The instant writ petition has been filed for the following relief:- "Issue, a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the court of learned Civil Judge (Junior Division) Kanpur Nagar to decide the Rent Case No.1526 of 2022 (Manoj Kumar Bajpai (since deceased) and others Vs Rajesh), within two months in the light of the provisions contained under Rule 15(3) of U.P. Act No. 13 of 1972." 3. Counsel for the petitioner states that the proceeding under Section 21(1)(a) of the U.P. Act No.13 of 1972 is pending before the Prescribed Authority/Civil Judge (J.D.), Kanpur Nagar since 2019. He placed the certified copy of the order sheet in order to demonstrate that the case is not proceeding expeditiously. 4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this petition is disposed of with the direction to Prescribed Authority/Civil Judge (J.D.), Kanpur Nagar to decide the aforesaid proceedings to its logical conclusion, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of 2 months, from the date of production of a certified copy of this order before the authority concerned, after affording proper opportunity of hearing to the parties concerned, in accordance with law.
