Gogoi, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Ms. S. Chutia, learned standing counsel, Elementary Education Department for the respondent Nos. 1, 2, 4 and 5 and Ms. D. D. Barman, learned Addl. Senior Govt. Advocate for the respondent Nos. 3 and 6. 2. The petitioner who is the Vice President of the Managing Committee of Dhondacham Garigaon L. P. School, Village Chnagpul, District Golaghat has preferred the present writ petition, being aggrieved with the non-action on the part of the respondent authorities in granting permission to the Managing Committee of the said School for erection of a statue of the Ex-Head Master, Shri Bimol Chandra Dey in the School premises. To that effect, they made representations before the District Elementary Education Officer, Golaghat on 23.08.2024, the Sub-Divisional Officer, SDO (Civil) Dhansiri, Sarupathar on 20.10.2024, the Primary Education Officer, Circle South Golaghat, Sarupathar on 28.10.2024 and the District Commissioner, Golaghat District on 23.10.2024. However, as the permission for erection of the statue has not been granted till date, they are before this Court by way of the present writ petition. 3. Considering the issue involved, this writ petition is disposed of directing Page No.# 3/3 the petitioner to make a fresh representation before the Director of Elementary Education, Assam as well as the District Commissioner, Golaghat, Assam within a period of 1(one) week from today. Thereafter, on receipt of the representation to be made by the petitioner, the Director of Elementary Education, Assam and the District Commissioner, Goglaghat shall consider and dispose of the representation to be made by the petitioner within a period of 2(two) months from the date of receipt of such representation in accordance with law. 4.
