JUSTICE M.NAGAPRASANNA) 1. The petitioner is before this court seeking the following prayer: “Wherefore petitioners pray that this Hon'ble court be pleased to issue writ, direction, order or orders in the nature of Mandamus a. directing the respondents to consider the representations of the petitioners dated 05.05.2025, 10.06.2025 as per ANNEXURE F and G by paying the arrears of their salary sum of Rs. 10,64,368/- as per the UGC 7th pay scale. b. Pass any other order or orders as this Hon'ble court deems fit to grant in the facts and circumstances of the case including award of quashing.” 2. Heard Smt. Soubhagya S.Vakkund, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners, Smt. Girija S.Hiremath, learned HCGP appearing for respondent Nos.1 to 4, & Shri Rajashekhar Gunjalli, learned counsel appearing for respondent Nos.5 and 6. 3. Learned counsel appearing for the parties in unison would submit that, the issue in the lis stands covered by judgment rendered by this Court in Writ Petition No.105671 of 2025, disposed off on 31st October 2025. This Court held as follows: - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC-D:18200 WP No. 109369 of 2025 1. The petitioner is before this Court seeking the following prayer: A. Directing the respondents to consider the representations dated 24.04.2025, 16.05.2025 and 29.05.2025 as per Annexure F, G and H. B. Pass any other order or orders as this Hon’ble court deems fit to grant in the facts and circumstances of the case including award of quashing. 2. The petitioner is working as an Assistant Professor in Kannada Literature in Kannada University. The petitioner claims to be entitled to the arrears of pay qua the 7th UGC pay scale. The petitioner on his claim has submitted plethora of representations, all of which are appended to the petition. 3. The learned counsel Shri Rajashekhar Gunjalli representing the respondent University submits that the respondent University has recommended and communicated with all the necessary documents to the State. The State has to take a call. 4. The learned HCGP would submit that, if a reasonable time is granted, the representation of the petitioner would merit consideration and appropriate orders would be passed thereon. 5. In the light of the said submission, I deem it appropriate direct the State to consider the representations submitted at Annexures-F, G and H of the petition dated 24.04.2025, 16.05.2025 and 29.05.2025, within an outer limit of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if not earlier. Ordered accordingly. 4. In the light of the issue standing covered by the judgment passed by this Court (supra), on all its fours - 5 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC-D:18200 WP No. 109369 of 2025 and on the same reasons, the subject petition also stands disposed.
