Since no adverse orders are passed as against the private respondents 6 to 8, notice to the private respondents 6 to 8 are dispensed with. 2. This petition is filed to permit the petitioner and his community people to enter into all the temples situated at koogaiyur namely, 1.Arulmigu Sornapureeswarar Temple, 2.Arulmigu Rajanarayana Perumal Temple, 3.Arulmigu Mariamman Temple 4. Arulmigu Selliamman Temple 5. Arulmigu Pillayar Temples and permit them to do worship and other ritual activities as per the Agamas and local rituals permitted in the said temples and also to permit them to participate in the Mariamman Temple festival and to participate in the Paal Kudam Rituals along with other devotees. 2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner belong to downtrodden community and the petitioner and his community 2/5 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis W.P. No. 34701 of 2025 people are not allowed to enter the temple and worship the deities. Further, the petitioner is prevented from participating in the palkudam festival. 3. Per contra, the learned Additional Government Pleader as well as the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents 1 to 5 would submit that there is no discrimination in the temple and all are entitled and allowed to worship the deities. 4. Considering the submissions on either side and taking note of the submissions of the respondents that there is no discrimination in the temple, the petitioner and his community people are permitted to do worship and other ritual activities as per the Agamas in the temple and further, the petitioner is permitted to participate in the Paal Kudam Rituals along with other devotees. With the above observation, the Petition is disposed of.
