Upon coming up instant petition for consideration, counsel for the respondents produced a copy of Order No. DULB/Acctts/2995/490 of 2024 dated 21.10.2024, issued by the Director Urban Local Bodies, Kashmir, which signifies that the sanction has been accorded to the grant of family pension as admissible under the Jammu and Kashmir Family Pension-Cum- Gratuity Rules, 1994 in favour of the petitioner herein. 2. According to the counsel for the respondents, the petitioner herein has sought a writ of mandamus against the respondents for directing them to release/process the pension case of the petitioner, however, the said pension stands sanctioned in terms of the aforesaid consideration order, thus redressing the grievance(s) of the petitioner. Heard and perused the record. 3. A copy of the consideration order produced by the counsel for the respondents is taken on record and having regard to the contents of the same inasmuch as, the prayer made in the instant petition, seemingly nothing remains in the petition to be adjudicate upon. Accordingly, the petition is disposed of as settled. 4. In the event, the petitioner has any other grievance(s) qua the retrial benefits of her deceased husband, the petitioner shall be free to re-agitate the matter.
