The present writ petition has been filed praying for quashing of an order dated 11.06.2025 stating that thereby the application of the petitioner for issue of passport has been rejected on basis of adverse police verification report. 2. We have gone through the order dated 11.06.2025. In fact, it is a show cause notice issued to the petitioner seeking his clarification in respect of adverse police verification report based on two criminal cases against him. 3. Although, the case of the petitioner is that in both the cases final reports have been submitted but it seems that the petitioner has not responded to the show cause notice issued to him so far. 4. In case, final reports have been submitted and the same have been accepted, we leave it open to the petitioner to respond to the show cause notice so that appropriate decision is taken by the Passport Authority. 5. Subject to the aforesaid, the writ petition stands disposed of.
