The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Kanke P.S. Case No. 127 of 2023 for the offences registered under sections 364 and 392 of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Ranchi. On 23.05.2023, 3-4 unknown persons robbed the Informant Kalim Ansari. When his son resisted the robbery, the accused persons abducted him and later on released him. It was submitted that the petitioner is neither named in the FIR, nor he was put on T.I. Parade. It was further submitted that nothing incriminating has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner. It was finally submitted that co-accused Rajendra Kumar Mahto @ Govind Mahto has been granted bail by this Court vide B.A. No.10071 of 2024 and the case of the petitioner stands on similar footing. In view of the aforesaid facts, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Ranchi in connection with Kanke P.S.
