This contempt petition is filed complaining disobedience of order dated 11.06.2025 passed in Writ Petition No.102818/2025, whereunder, this Court issued the following directions: ORDER i. Petition is allowed. ii. Writ of mandamus is issued directing the respondent No.3 to enter/mutate the name of the petitioner and show name of the petitioner in column Nos.9 and 12 in the revenue records in Sy.No.136/2, 136/3 and 136/4 of Budursingi village, Hubballi taluk. iii. The said exercise shall be completed within four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of the order. 3. On issuance of notice, accused no.1 appeared and affidavit of accused No.1 is filed enclosing document - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC-D:18080-DB CCC No. 100300 of 2025 Nos.1 to 6 to indicate the action taken by mutating the name of the complainant in the record of rights, where the name of the complainant is entered in respect of the land in question. 4. In view of the mutation entry dated 15.05.2025 and consequent record of right generated in the name of the complainant, we are of the view that there is substantial compliance of the order passed by this Court. However if any grievance of the complainant persists, it is open for the complainant to initiate appropriate proceedings. With the above further proceedings dropped.
