According to the petitioner, since she had filed a case against the father of the 7th respondent, there was a life threat from the private respondents. Hence, the petitioner seeks police protection. 3. In such view of the matter, such a blanket direction cannot be given. If at all a real threat is received, it is for the petitioner to lodge a complaint to the police. If such complaint satisfies, the police shall register a case as per law as against the persons who threatened or caused intimidation to the petitioner. 4. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed.
