JUDGMENT
The writ petition is filed to direct the 3rd respondent to afford adequate police protection to the petitioner and the family members from the threats being caused by the 5th respondent. 2. When the writ petition came up for consideration on 08.07.2024, this Court had directed respondents 3 and 4 to ensure that the law and order is maintained in the petitioner’s locality. The above interim order has been extended from time to time. 3. Heard; the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Government Pleader and the learned counsel for the 5th respondent. 4. The learned Government Pleader submitted that, after the above interim order, there has been no law and order problem in the petitioner’s locality. On considering the facts and materials on record, I am of the definite view that, it is up to the petitioner to

approach the jurisdictional Station House Officer and file a complaint, in case there is any threat from the part of the 5th respondent or their men.
