The present petition has been filed praying for the following relief: "i) issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Certiorari quashing the impugned F.I.R. dated 21.06.2025 (Annexure No. 1 to the writ petition), registered in Case Crime No. 0198/2025, Under Section 115(2), 352, 191(1), 191(2) B.N.S., 2023 & 7 Criminal Law Amendment Act, Police Station Junavai, District Sambhal; ii) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondent no. 1 and 2 to initiate a proper inquiry against the respondent No. 4 & 5 for their act and conduct being a public servant." A perusal of the First Information Report discloses commission of offence in the above case, therefore, no case for quashing the first information report is made out. The relief no. 1 is rejected. So far as relief no. 2 is concerned, the petitioners have the remedy to approach the higher officers in the police department. The petition is dismissed.
