Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that he participated in the recruitment process for appointment on the post of Assistant Teacher, Government Primary School, but his candidature has been rejected and by a communication dated 30.05.2025 of the respondent no.3/District Education Officer, District Chamoli, the petitioner has been required to response to it within a week since then. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner had already given his response on 05.06.2025, which is Annexure No.5 to the writ petition. But, no decision has yet been taken on it. Therefore, respondents may be directed to take a decision on the representation that was given by the petitioner to the respondent no.3/the District Education Officer, District Chamoli. Learned State Counsel would submit that the respondent no.3/the District Education Officer, District Chamoli would take a decision on the representation of the petitioner within a period of three weeks. The Court takes on record the statement given by learned State counsel. The petition is disposed of with the direction to the respondent no.3/the District Education Officer, District Chamoli to decide the representation of the petitioner within a period of three weeks from today.
