1. By the medium of the present petition, the petitioner has challenged the tentative selection merit list of Seasonal Education Volunteers (SEVs) issued vide No. ZEO/V/Sms/Seasonal/Ev/299 dated 23.07.2025 by respondent No. 4, to the extent it includes the name of respondent No. 5 at serial No. 1.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that objections to the said selection list were filed by the petitioner, but the same have not been considered by the respondents.
3. Vide order dated 04.08.2025, this Court directed Mr. Waseem Gul, learned Government Advocate for the respondents, to obtain instructions and produce the relevant record on the next date of hearing.
4. Mr. Waseem Gul, learned Government Advocate, on instructions, submits that the objections filed by the petitioner on 28.07.2025 have already been considered and rejected by the respondents, and consequently, the final selection list was issued on 02.08.2025.
5. Mr. Ashiq Hussain Shah, learned counsel for the petitioner, upon being confronted with the statement made by learned counsel for the respondents, seeks to withdraw the petition with liberty to challenge the final selection list before the appropriate forum. He further requests that copies of the rejection order and the final selection list be provided to him by learned counsel for the respondents.
6. In view of the above, the present petition is dismissed as withdrawn, with liberty to the petitioner to challenge the final selection list before the appropriate forum, if so advised.
7. Learned counsel for the respondents shall provide copies of the rejection order and the final selection list to learned counsel for the petitioner during the course of the day.
