The petitioner- Vikash Kumar Ram has been made accused in connection with S.T. No.16 of 2023 arising out of Dhanwar P.S. Case No. 222 of 2022 for the offence registered under Sections 304B/34 of the IPC pending in the Court of learned Additional Sessions Judge-II, Giridih. Earlier bail application of this petitioner was rejected vide order dated 23.08.2024 and the same has now been renewed on the ground that the accused is in custody since 29.08.2022 and in the said order, there was specific direction to conclude the trial within six months, but at present out of 14 witnesses, only six witnesses have been examined. Learned A.P.P. opposed the prayer for bail. Under the circumstances, the above named petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/-(Twenty Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Court below.
