The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Sonahatu (Rahe) P.S. Case No. 33 of 2021 corresponding to N.D.P.S. Case No. 128 of 2024, for the offences registered under Sections 15(c), 25 and 29 of the N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the Court of learned A.J.C.-VIII-cum-Special Judge, N.D.P.S., Ranchi. 3. On 17.05.2021, at about 07:00 p.m., Rahe Police seized a truck bearing Registration No. RJ-19GF-9316 from a place near Kapidih. On search, about 2200 kgs of poppy husks were recovered from the said vehicle. 4. It was submitted that the petitioner is the owner of the seized vehicle. It was further submitted that the driver and cleaner of the vehicle have faced separate trial and they have been acquitted by the learned Trial Court on the ground that the mandatory provisions under Section 42 of the N.D.P.S. Act was not complied. 5. In view of the aforesaid facts, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned A.J.C.-VIII-cum-Special Judge, N.D.P.S., Ranchi in connection with Sonahatu (Rahe) P.S.
