JUSTICE S G PANDIT) This writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is directed against the order dated 09.12.2023 in Writ Petition No.105443/2021 (Lok-Adalath No.1664/2023) passed by the Lok-Adalath, High Court of Karnataka, Dharwad Bench, Dharwad, whereunder it was directed as follows: “In terms of the joint memo, petition stands disposed off. The respondent No.7 has agreed to send the proposal within two months relating to the pensionary benefits of the petitioner for settlement to the 4th respondent. The respondent No.4 has agreed to consider the case of the petitioner for settlement of pensionary benefits in accordance with law within a period of three moths for sanction of pensionary benefits.” 2. Today, this Court has disposed of CCC No.100212/2024 filed against the same order, which is under challenge in this writ petition. In the said proceedings, learned counsel for the petitioner has placed - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC-D:15612-DB WP No. 102835 of 2024 on record a letter dated 11.09.2024 (Annexure-R3), forwarding the proposal for sanction of pension and pensionary benefits. In pursuance of said proposal, the Government and Accountant General in Karnataka have taken further steps. 3. Learned Additional Government Advocate would submit that by communication dated 20.06.2025, has sanctioned pension of ₹.75,300/- per month to the respondent. 4. In view of the subsequent development and in view of the fact that the petitioner herein has taken steps for forwarding the proposal for pension and thereafter for the sanction of pension by the competent authority, the writ petition would no more survive for consideration. 5.
