The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Gumla P.S. Case No. 294 of 2023 (S.T. No.25 of 2024), for the offences registered under Section 376(D) of the I.P.C., pending in the Court of learned Additional Sessions Judge-I-cum- Spl. Judge, Gumla. On 29.08.2023, the petitioner along with co-accused entered into the house of the informant and gang raped her. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that petitioner is in custody since 01.09.2024. It was further submitted that only one witness has been examined in this case.
