“It is most respectfully prayed that this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to quash the First Information Report vide Crime No.118/2021 under Section 419 and 420 of IPC by Police Station Civil Lines, Bilaspur, District Bilaspur (C.G.), in the interest of justice.”

Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner was granted interim protection vide order dated 01-03-2021 that no coercive steps shall be taken against the petitioner and vide order dated 19-07-2023 the said order has been modified to the extent that police shall carry forward the investigation and file police report under Section 173(2) of the Cr.P.C. before the concerned Court, but no coercive steps shall be taken against the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the State has pointed out that the closure report has been filed on 26-07-2023.
