Case No. 158 of 2024 for the offences registered under sections 317(5) and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, section 12 of Jharkhand Bovine Animals Prohibition of Slaughter Act, 2005 and section 11(1)(D) of Prevention of Animal Cruelty Act, 1990, pending in the court of Sri Vivek Kumar, learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Hazaribagh. 3. Petitioner happens to be the driver cum owner of the pick-up van bearing registration no. JH 10CP 6906 which was seized by the Daru Police on 15.12.2024 at about 9.45 a.m. On search, five cattle were recovered from the seized vehicle. 4. It was submitted that the cattle which was being transported by the petitioner was purchased by the petitioner from one Kamlesh Paswan from Dudhapi Shivganj Animal Fair and receipt thereof has been annexed as Annexure-2 to this bail application. 5. In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of Sri Vivek Kumar, learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Hazaribagh in connection with Daru P.S.
