The petitioner has been made accused in connection with S.T. Case No. 225 of 2023 arising out of Torpa P.S. Case No. 24 of 2023, for the offences registered under Sections 304(B), 120(B) and 34 of the I.P.C., pending in the Court of learned District & Additional Sessions Judge-I, Khunti. 3. Bail Application of the petitioner was earlier rejected by this Court vide B.A. No. 8711 of 2023 by order dated 06.02.2024. 4. Petitioner happens to be the husband of the deceased Reshma Khatoon, who was strangulated to death within three months of her marriage. There is specific allegation against the petitioner that he was demanding one Apache motorcycle. When the demand was not met, he murdered his wife. 5. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has submitted that charge has been framed in this case on 03.02.2024, but prosecution has not examined a single witness. 6. Considering the nature of allegation, I am not inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, his prayer for bail stands rejected. 7. The learned Trial Court shall expedite the trial.
