Hon'ble Prakash Padia,J. 1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Standing Counsel for the respondent-State and perused the record. 2. Petitioner is an Ex-Gram Pradhan and during period when petitioner was Gram Pradhan of Gram Panchayat- Banpokhara, Block-Fatahpur Mandav, Tehsil-Madhuban, District Mau certain construction works were done by him in respect of which necessary payments were not made hence he made a representation before the authorities. On the aforesaid representation a letter dated 22.09.2022 was written by the respondent no.2 namely District Panchayat Raj Officer, Mau, to Assistant Development Officer (Panchayat) and Secretary/Village Development Officer, Village Panchayat Banpokhara, Block-Fatahpur Mandav, Tehsil- Madhuban, District Mau to verify the aforesaid facts and submit their report. 3. It is argued by counsel for the petitioner that though a considerable time has lapsed but till date no final decision has been taken in the matter. 4. On the other hand it is argued by learned Standing Counsel that respondent no.2 will take a decision in the matter expeditiously. 5. In the facts and circumstances of the case, present petition is disposed of directing the respondent no.2 to take a decision in the matter strictly in accordance with law most expeditiously and preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
