1. This suo motu Public Interest Litigation (PIL) was entertained in the year 2016 in respect of the building constructed for members of Bar at Ludhiana. It is alleged that certain constructions in the Bar building have been allowed, which were not consistent with the approval granted by the Building Committee of this Court. Certain issues regarding the allotment had also cropped up in the past. 2. Today, when the matter is taken up, we are informed that pursuant to previous orders passed in this matter, the dispute relating to allotment of chambers, as has been raised earlier, stands resolved. Learned counsel representing the parties have agreed that the specific use specified for the Bar building, as per the approval of the Building Committee, ought to be restored. 3. We, accordingly, dispose of this petition with the direction that Bar chambers would be allowed to continue as per the approval granted by the Building Committee of this Court.
