By way of instant petition, petitioner has prayed for following main reliefs:
“1.That the respondent may be directed to consider the case of the petitioner for appointment as Pump Operator with seniority and all consequential benefits including arrears from 1st November 2018 when the similar situated candidates were considered for appointment on the basis of requisition and waiting list.”

Though at the first instance, respondent No.3 by way of filing reply refuted the claim of the petitioner as put forth in the petition, however during the proceedings of the case, Mr. Vishwajeet

Singh, learned counsel representing respondent No.3 made available notification dated 28.7.2025, issued under the signature of Secretary, Himachal Pradesh Rajya Chayan Aayog Hamirpur, to state that name of the petitioner has been recommended for the post of Pump Operator (Post Code 537), from the waiting panel for further appointment by the government.

Having perused aforesaid communication, which is taken on record, this Court finds merit in the contention of learned counsel for respondent No.3.

In view of the aforesaid development, relief ,as prayed for, stands granted to the petitioner and accordingly, present petition is disposed of with direction to respondents No. 1 and 2 to ensure that appointment letter on the basis of recommendation dated 28.7.2025, made by respondent No.3 for the post of Pump Operator is issued to the petitioner, expeditiously, preferably, within three weeks. Liberty reserved to the petitioner to file appropriate proceedings before appropriate court of law qua surviving grievance, if any. Pending application(s), if any, also stands disposed of.
