This Court, vide order dated 01.08.2024, passed in MCRC No. 5348 of 2024, while allowing the bail to the applicant, namely, Sharma Yadav had expressed its trust that the trial Court should make an earnest endeavor to conclude the trial expeditiously in accordance with law, preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order, if there was no legal impediment. 3. The learned Additional Sessions Judge (F.T.C.) Ambikapur, District- KUNAL DEWANGAN Digitally signed by KUNAL DEWANGAN 2 Surguja (C.G.) vide his request letter dated 25.01.2025 has requested for grant of some more time for concluding the trial. 4. It transpires from perusal of the PUD, that in this case, lots of efforts have been made to conclude the trial but it could not be completed within a stipulated time. However, in this case, due to the absence of prosecution witnesses, their presence could not be recorded moreover, the statements of all other witnesses in the case have been recorded, prompting the prosecution to declare their evidence closed. The case is currently at the stage of final argument, with the next date scheduled on 20.02.2025. Hence the conclusion of the trial is likely to take some time. Therefore, he prays for grant of further more time for concluding the same. 5. The request appears to be reasonable. The concerned trial Court is directed to conclude the trial as early as possible, preferably within a further period of five months from today. 6. Accordingly, this CRMP stands disposed off with the aforesaid direction. 7.
