The learned counsel for the respondent has filed a memo, which reads as under: Herein, the memo on behalf of the Respondent is as under: The Respondent herein is producing the copy of the order passed by the Labour Court Belagavi in Application No.89/2012, dated 24.08.2016 and the copy of the MOU by the Respondent dated 27.01.2018. The memo and a copy of the order dated 24.08.2016 passed by the Labour Court, Belagavi in - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC-D:11820 WP No. 71660 of 2012 application No.89/2012 filed by the present petitioner are placed on record. 4. It is forthcoming that in the said proceedings, the petitioner along with other workmen had entered into a memorandum of understanding dated 27.01.2018, whereunder, they had amicably settled all the disputes with the respondent-Management and also accepted that it is a full and final settlement amongst the workmen and respondent-Management. A copy of the MOU dated 27.01.2018 is also annexed along with the memo and it is forthcoming that the petitioner herein is the second party No.23 in the said MOU. A chart containing the amounts that have been paid to the respective workmen has also placed on record. 5. In view of the aforementioned, the learned counsel the petitioner seeks for a short accommodation to secure instructions. 6. However, in view of the aforementioned, the above writ petition is disposed of, reserving liberty to the - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC-D:11820 WP No. 71660 of 2012 petitioner to seek for revival of the present proceedings, in the event, the settlement has not been arrived at, as is sought to be contended by the respondent.
