The petitioners are before this Court seeking the following prayer: A.” Issue a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the application dated 02.08.2017 and 21.06.2018 produced at Annexure-"E" and "F" respectively for the benefits claimed by the petitioners. B. Issue such other writs or orders or directions as deemed fit under the circumstances of the case including an order for costs may be passed.” 2. The petitioners are stated to be teachers and peons working in the school run by the 1st respondent–Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation. Owing to the non-grant of certain benefits, the petitioners had submitted a representation on 16.01.2009, the non-consideration of which led them to approach this Court in W.P. Nos.64836–64838 of 2009, which came to be disposed of by an order dated 12.12.2011. 3. The petitioners were thereafter granted certain benefits, but the same were short-paid. On the ground that they have been short-paid, the petitioners submitted another - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC-D:17687 WP No. 104292 of 2018 representation on 02.08.2017, which is yet to be considered by the respondents. 4. Learned counsel appearing for the respondents submits that appropriate orders would be passed on the said representation within a reasonable time and in strict accordance with law. 5. In light of the said submission, I deem it appropriate to dispose of the petition without entering into the merits of the claim, by directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioners and pass necessary orders within an outer limit of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if not earlier. 6.
