The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Fatehpur P.S. Case No. 26 of 2024 (S.T. Case No.126 of 2024) for the offences registered under section 64(1) of the B.N.S., pending in the court of learned Additional Sessions Judge-III, Jamtara. On 31.08.2024 at about 2:00 P.M., the petitioner is alleged to have raped the victim. It was submitted that relative of the petitioner had earlier filed a case against the father of the victim. It was further submitted that this case has been filed in retaliation to that case. Considering the fact that there is specific allegation against the petitioner that he had raped the victim, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail.
