67. 04.08.2025 (M/L) Court No.8 (Tanmoy) WPA (P)/40/2023 AMIT DUTTA AND ANR. VS STATE OF WEST BENGAL AND ORS. 1. None appears for the parties. 2. The grievance raised in this petition is regarding alleged forcible vaccination (Measles and Rubella) to the children. When the other side was put to notice they filed their report and apprised the Court that the said vaccination was voluntary in nature and no children had been forced to take the vaccination. 3. This Court, by order dated 13th February, 2023, permitted the petitioners to place on record the instances of forced vaccination. The petitioners although filed supplementary affidavit but no factual details are mentioned in the said affidavit. A bald statement is made without providing any particulars such as names, places, etc. where such alleged forcible vaccination had taken place. 4. Thus, we find no reason to entertain this Public Interest Litigation and the same is disposed of. 2 5.
