The Court made the following ORDER: The above writ petition is filed to declare the action of the respondents in not extending the license period of the petitioner in respect of General Minor Unit/GMU No.SG1GMU051 Tea Stall at Platform Nos 8 and 9 of Vijayawada Railway Station for another term, as illegal and arbitrary. 2. The writ petition was listed on 21.02.2025 and adjourned to 25.02.2025 and thereafter to 28.02.2025 for getting instructions. On 07.03.2025, there was no representation for the petitioner. 3. Learned counsel appeared for the respondents would submit that in respect of the subject Tea stall, the auction was conducted on 23.02.2025. Learned counsel would further submit that the petitioner vacated the shop, 2 and the same was handed over to the highest bidder. Given the instructions, the writ petition was adjourned to 19.03.2025 under the caption for orders. 4. On 19.03.2025 there was no representation for the petitioner and adjourned to 21.03.2025. Today, when the matter is called, Ms.Bhuvana, learned counsel representing Sri Karumanchi Indraneel Babu, learned counsel for the petitioner, would submit that the learned counsel for the petitioner has given up objection vakalat and in fact, issued no objection to the petitioner. However, no memo was filed before the court to that effect. 5. Until and unless the Court terminates the vakalat of the learned counsel, the vakalat of the learned counsel shall continue. 6. As seen from the instructions of learned counsel for the respondents, pending the writ petition, the auction was conducted, and the petitioner vacated the shop, and further, the same was handed over to the highest bidder. 7. Given the facts and circumstances of the case, since the petitioner vacated the Tea shop and handed it over the same to the highest bidder, no further adjudication is required, and thus, the writ petition is closed. No order as to costs.
