The petitioner named above has been made accused in connection with Kuru P.S. Case No. 169 of 2022 for the offence registered under Sections 394 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act, pending in the court of Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Lohardaga. Earlier the prayer for bail of this petitioner was rejected by this Court twice on merit. On last occasion, vide order dated 12.07.2024 passed in B.A. No. 4115 of 2024, there is specific direction to the Trial Court to conclude the trial within six months from the date of the said order. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the prayer for bail of the petitioner is being renewed on the ground that the petitioner is languishing the jail custody since 05.11.2022 and after passing of the last order, not a single witness has been examined. Learned counsel for the State has opposed the prayer for bail. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Court below.
